Five Ways You Can Support Tasks Unlimited

Tasks Unlimited provides jobs for people with mental illness. We often hear, "I love the work you do! How can I get more involved with Tasks Unlimited?"

Here are five ways you can help Tasks Unlimited right now!

  1. Join the conversation and spread the word. We want to hear from you, and we want people to know our name! Check out our Facebook page and Twitter account. Make sure to "Like" us to receive updates on what we're doing. Ask us questions or comment on recent posts. Don't forget to share the link with your friends!
  2. Sign up for the fall benefit. (and invite friends to attend!) Our fall benefit is a chance for you to hear directly from the people that benefit from our employment, housing and mental health support. Seeing is believing!
  3. Contact us about volunteer opportunities. Our volunteer program is just beginnning to take off!
  4. Advocate. Sometimes, the symptoms of mental illness prevent those affected from advocating for the help they need to be successful. Take a stand. Contact a legislator and remind them of the importance of programs to help people with mental health disabilities.
  5. Donate. Funds donated to Tasks Unlimited ensure our lodges are places any of us would want to call home. It ensures our job trainees have all the tools they need to succeed. Donations ensure programs meet the needs of unique groups such as single mothers or people involved with the criminal justice system. Your donations make a difference.
