 | Share a
house with 4 to 8 other adults. Living in a lodge involves being
a part of a group who care about and support one another. |
 | You will
participate with the other residents in making the house rules
and carrying out the cleaning, purchasing supplies, paying
bills, cooking and lawn care and shoveling snow. |
 | Each
lodge eats one bigger meal a day together and then individuals
fix their own breakfast and lunch. Food is purchased in common
from the house treasury. |
 | Each
member pays rent to Tasks Unlimited Lodges, and pays a monthly
lodge membership fee to their group. The group sets that fee and
they use the money to buy gas for the van, groceries and
household supplies and pay utilities. Some groups decide to rent
cable TV or other amenities. |
 | Lodge
members work. Most work with the others in the lodge and often
as part of a larger group at the same job site. |
 | Each
lodge has a coordinator. The coordinator functions as a
consultant to the group and its members. They are also involved
in the work setting and coordinate all the services. |
